Getting Around Glasgow
 |
|
The University of Strathclyde is located right in the heart of Glasgow, close to the City Chambers (pictured) and George Square. The campus is located on a series of hills north East of the City Chambers and is relatively compact; getting from one end to the other is a 5-10 minute walk. The map below shows the location of the conference venues and the public transport hubs in the city centre. The University is very well connected to the rest of Glasgow by an extensive public transport network. Strathclyde Passenger Transport Executive (SPT) is responsible for co-ordinating public transport in and around the city. The SPT web site is the best place to get information on timetables and tickets.
